About this Event
The Food Distribution is back at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw — four Saturdays, from August through November.
This is not a one-time giveaway. It's standing infrastructure, in the same lot, on a schedule you can plan your month around.
WHAT'S WAITING FOR YOU
- Groceries — shelf-stable staples to stock the pantry past the weekend
- Fresh produce — fruit and vegetables chosen for the way people here actually cook
- A hot meal, cooked and served on site — sit down, eat, take a minute
- Frozen meals to take home — for the nights when there's no time to cook
- Health services — free screenings and a real connection to care if you want one
- Community partners — case management, referrals, and sign-ups, all in one lot
WALK UP OR DRIVE UP
Both lanes open at 8:00 AM. Come on foot, come in the car, bring a wagon, bring your kids. Free parking on site. Follow the gold signs.
NO ID. NO INCOME CHECK. NO PAPERWORK.
You don't have to prove anything to anyone to eat. That has never been how we do this, and it never will be.
Registering ahead helps us pack the right number of boxes and cuts your time in line. But if you didn't register, come anyway. We have never turned a neighbor away and we're not starting now.
Bring a bag or cart if you have one. If you can't carry it, tell a volunteer in a gold shirt and we'll get it to your car.
