Celebrate Martin Luther King Day of Service with the South Austin Creek Alliance’s (SACA) newest creek adoption. We will be working along Onion Creek. Parking and access point will be under the Old San Antonio Road bridge at Onion Creek at 11901 Old San Antonio Road, Austin, Texas 78748. We will be focusing on litter abatement and invasive plant removal. Our meeting place will be under the bridge - going Southbound on Old San Antonio Road before crossing the creek there is a pull-off on the right that leads under the bridge. Please join us. We will have trash bags and tools available to borrow. Please register via the GivePulse website, so we know who to expect and so we can show your involvement. Parking is on-street, so carpooling is recommended if possible. There is Poison ivy in the area, so you may want to wear pants and bring your work gloves. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle. Minors will require adult supervision at all times. Hope to see y’all there!
