South Asian Women's Meetup

If you identify as a South Asian woman, then this one’s for you! We're building a community that you can lean on and in which you can explore your experiences as a South Asian woman in a safe environment.
Get cozy at Neruda’s Brunswick, a Latin American cafe where the vibes and food just hit right and meet other South Asian women who really want to listen and hold space for each other. This is NOT therapy. It is a peer led and run community support group.

We meet on the last Sundays or Saturday morning of every month (alternating)! The intention is for this space to help us reconnect with our South Asian communities, come together, listen, validate and learn from each others' lived experiences; in a ZERO judgement, cozy environment. There are no age limits as we celebrate the importance of having different perspectives in our discussions. So, feel free to bring a friend or a family member - the more the merrier.

Meet-ups are free and you can buy whatever food/drink you want throughout the meetup and/or hang back and eat after. We just ask that each individual registers ASAP so we can set up enough seating arrangements.

And don't worry, we have planned activities to help with the awkwardness of meeting new people!
