Join us for MatchMasala’s Virtual Speed Dating Night — a fun, comfortable, and meaningful way to connect with other South Asian professionals and singles from across Canada, all from the comfort of your own home.

Whether you’re in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Edmonton, or anywhere in between — this event brings together South Asians looking for real conversations and meaningful connections.

What is involved in the virtual event?

1. A link will be sent to your email, 24 hours prior to the event. This will contain the login information for the virtual event.
2. At the start time, the host will let you in the event.
3. The host will go over the instructions of how the event will be conducted, and answer any questions if participants have any.
4. The host will then start the speed dating event, and you will assigned to a chat room.
5. You will have one-on-one conversations for 5 minutes with another participant. After the 5 minutes are up, you can indicate if you would like to express interest in this person.
6. You will then have another one-on-one conversation with the next participant in another round, which will repeat again until the event is over.
7. The host will then bring all participants in a shared virtual room to go over the final instructions, and then end the event.
8. You will have 24 hours to log back into the event, and mark your preferences on who you would like to connect with.
9. After 24 hours, an email will be sent to you with your matches. You can then use the event software to log back in, and use the secure chat function to message the other participant.

Privacy Statement - To maintain privacy, no email addresses or phone numbers will be shared by the host with other participants. The software is designed to only allow participants to message each other on the app. If you want the other participants contact info, you must match first, and ask the other participant for their information.

Professionalism - It is expected participants behave professionally during the event. Please log on in a private area on your personal device (to avoid disruptions and maintain privacy), and wear professional casual attire. The host will use their discretion to disconnect any participants that do not behave or act professionally in the event.
