South Asian American Theatre Festival V (SAATh V) returns this year—bigger, bolder, and better than ever—as we celebrate the 5th edition of this one-of-a-kind festival showcasing South Asian theatre in North America.
The festival kicks off on September 18 with our Multilingual Minithon, featuring an exciting lineup of short plays in Kannada, Telugu, Punjabi, Hindi, Gujarati, and more.
On September 19 and 20, audiences will experience eight compelling full-length plays from Boston and across the United States, celebrating the diverse voices and stories of the South Asian immigrant community. Performances will be presented in English, Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, and Malayalam.
SAATh V is proudly co-sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council, the Barr Foundation, and the Asian Community Fund, whose support helps us bring together artists, audiences, and communities through the power of theatre.
