🎺 Dust Off That Old Instrument & Join "Sousapalooza"!
In honor of America’s 250th birthday, we are hosting a massive Sousapalooza celebration! We invite all brass, wind, and percussion musicians from across the region to come together for a mass performance of John Philip Sousa’s most iconic marches.
Led by Dyersburg State Community College's Dr. Nicolas Andrade (Instructor of Music & Band Director), this festival-style event includes sight-reading practice, a short break for refreshments, and a grand community performance. If you ever played in a band, we want YOU!
Where: Dyer County Performance Center (1200 Community Park Road, Dyersburg—between Sorghum Valley and the Dyer County Government Complex)
When: Participant practice starts at 3:00 PM | Public concert starts at 5:30 PM
What to bring: Your instrument and your own music stand!
