Join Lynn of the Mutiny Ranch on December 3rd from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Zu Gallery (48 W Main St., Cortez) and learn the easiest, most surefire way to create your own sourdough starter and gain the skills to bake your very first sourdough boule.

This class comes just in time to impress your friends and family with delicious sourdough bread to accompany your upcoming holiday meals. You’ll even have plenty of starter leftover to make loaves as gifts or to create sourdough pancakes for a special breakfast.
In this class Lynn will show you how to create your very first starter from scratch. This quick and easy method will ensure you will never run out of starter or need to purchase a starter from outside sources. You’ll also receive a starter from her personal stash so you can begin baking right away.
But most importantly, you’ll learn things like:
-How to create a healthy and viable starter from scratch the easy way
-How to tell when your starter is ready to use
-How to maintain your starter
-How to read a sourdough formula
-How to avoid kneading dough
-The stretch and fold method
