Sourdough Start Up with Brooke Toftoy and Hey Shayla

Have you been interested in starting sourdough, but it feels way intimidating? We’ve been there. That’s why we put together this class so Brooke can walk you through EVERYTHING. In this class we will provide you with everything you need to create your organic starter, organic sourdough to bake the next morning and instructions for how to keep baking!

We will provide:

• Organic heritage flour for our dough
• Himalayan salt
• Starter jars
• Organic starter
• Recipe card

Here's what YOU need to bring:

• A glass or plastic Pyrex Bowl with a lid or Saran Wrap (to bring home your dough)
• Wooden spoon or sourdough whisk to mix your dough

Come solo and meet other like minded women or come with a group of friends and make it a night out! Sign up now because space is limited to 20 people and will fill up quickly!

Check-in is open 15 minutes prior to class start time. Studio is located in the back of the store next to our Fuel Space Cafe. Event guests can enjoy 20% of their purchase at Fuel Space Cafe during an event.

Parking: lululemon Mall of America is located near the West Main Mall Entrance on the 1st level. Most convenient parking is in the WEST RAMP between Nordstrom's and Macy's.

Shayla’s full time job is being a Mom of 3, and her other full time job is creating content on YouTube and Instagram😅. Both of which don’t leave a lot for the real life human interactions that she CRAVES.She knew other Moms (and women in general) had to feel the same! Since 2022 she's been hosting Minnesota Meetups, as a way to meet people while learning something new! Come join and learn how to make sourdough, it might just be your new hobby ;)

Brooke is a SAHM to 4 littles (& twin mama), and in her spare moments reads voraciously, is a Christ centered yoga instructor, a kitchen novice turned fresh milled sourdough workshopper, and clean beauty (Oliveda) and hemp wellness (Green Compass) educator. Her passion is gathering people to foster deep connection and learning something new. She also has a fantastic husband who is a chiro and crazy athlete.
