Grab your best pals and join me at the SoKno Sourdough bakery for the Sourdough Focaccia Decorating Workshop: PAL-entine's Day. This workshop is a fun and delicious hands-on experience in creating your own sourdough focaccia masterpiece. Think of this workshop like those "Painting with a Twist" events. I take care of the dough, and you take care of the toppings to make a delicious and unique pan of focaccia.Each ticket includes:
- One (1) prepared 13" x 9" pan of bubbly sourdough focaccia dough*
- Fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and more to inspire a focaccia unique to you
- Two (2) beverages (beer, seltzer, cider, or NA) to enjoy during the workshop (option for workshop only, without beverages)
Attendees can flex their creative muscles and decorate their focaccia with whatever ingredients inspire them. We will bake the focaccia in-house at the SoKno Sourdough bakery. Once the bread cools, you can slice into them to taste your delicious creation or take it home...or both! (PRO TIP: Once cooled, focaccia can be frozen and reheated for future consumption)
Example of the schedule:
*6:30pm - guests arrive and have a chance to grab a drink at the brewery next door and bring it back to the bakery
*6:40pm - we go over toppings/ingredients and answer any questions
*6:45pm - DECORATE YOUR FOCACCIA
*7:15pm - focaccia goes into the oven for 30-45 minutes while we grab another drink and chat amongst ourselves (and snack on some surprise sourdough treats)
*8:00pm - focaccia comes out of the oven to cool as the workshop comes to a close and you head out with your delicious bread
Sourdough focaccia is provided by SoKno Sourdough.
Beverages are provided by Swa'ra Brewing Company (right next door).
This workshop is perfect for one or two people per ticket, making for a fun friend hang, a unique date, or quality family time.
