Returning this year is the District 211 inter-school division competition featuring soups prepared by students from Conant, Fremd, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, and Schaumburg High Schools who are enrolled in the district’s Culinary Arts Pathway Program.

A soup tasting fundraising event tackling hunger and other community based needs.
The event features delicious soups, fellowship, and community networking in addition to free parking and a cash bar.
Participants will sample soups prepared and served by both local area restaurants and students enrolled in the D211 high schools culinary arts program (Conant, Fremd, Hoffman Estates, Palatine and Schaumburg) and vote for their favorite soups.
2025 Soup Cook-Off Division Champions (that being the Restaurant Division & D211 Culinary Arts Program Division) will be announced at the end of the event.
2024 Cook-Off Champions were as follows -
Restaurant Division
Bar Down Sports Grill located in Hoffman Estates
D211 Culinary Arts Program Division
Palatine High School located in Palatine
Proceeds will benefit the greater Schaumburg area food pantries in addition to other areas of need as determined by Schaumburg A.M. Rotary.
Tickets are as follows -
Adults (Age 18+) - $20 in advance / $25 at the door
Children (Age 6 - 17) - $10
Children (Age 5 & Under) - FREE
Participating restaurants and featured soup tastings to be announced at a later date.
