Step into the chilling world of colonial Salem.
Join Science Director Lynette Reiner for an intriguing and thought-provoking evening as she explores the infamous witch trials that shook early America. Go beyond the legends to uncover the real women behind the accusations and hysteria.
Meet Tituba, the enslaved woman whose confession ignited fear; Sarah Good, a destitute woman scorned by society; Sarah Osborne, a defiant landowner with a controversial past; and Bridget Bishop, the first to be tried and executed. Examine the social tensions, religious beliefs, personal rivalries, and widespread fear that fueled the trials, along with the tragic executions and haunting aftermath that left a lasting mark on American history.
This compelling program separates myth from reality and invites us to reflect on justice, fear, and the power of accusation.
