Soup & Stories at The Bookery is back! Join us from 12.30-2pm every Friday from 6 Feb to 27 March to enjoy FREE hot soup and drinks within a warm social space that is open to all members of the community!
As part of our National Year of Reading 2026 celebrations, our friendly Bookery volunteers will choose a short story, poem or extract to read at these sessions, and a selection of books and other items will be available. Everyone is welcome to bring their own story, or to suggest a book or poem that they would like to hear or discuss, or to just be part of a conversation in a welcoming environment.
The Bookery is delighted to have partnered again with The Turning Tides Project who will be providing hot, healthy soups and hot drinks.
