Join us for our Annual Soup & Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, November 14th at our Elaine B. Wiseman Pavilion (2715 Avenue K)! We need your help determining the People's Choice soup! Voting will start at 5 p.m. with the meal to follow. Each sample is 25 cents. Following the voting, we'll serve a bowl of soup, cinnamon roll and a drink for $5.A silent auction will be going on throughout the evening with proceeds to go toward our Family Self-Sufficiency Program activities. HUD provides funding for staffing the program, but fundraising is necessary to assist with other needs of the families. The Silent Auction will end at 6:30 p.m. Check back to see our generous donors as we get closer to the event!
