About this Event

Take a mindful moment to listen to the world around you! From bird songs and rustling leaves to flowing water and buzzing insects, participants will take part in a guided sensory hike and create their own sound maps by identifying and recording the natural sounds you hear along the way.

We will meet at the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park. $4 per person upon arrival at the front desk. $8 Vehicle Fee in Effect. Reservations are required for all programs, each person needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Please dress accordingly for the weather, and wear proper foot attire for walking. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
