A celebration of summer and music, Sounds Green takes place every Wednesday evening in July on the Garden’s Main Lawn, providing a perfect opportunity to embrace sights, sounds and summer scents in the Garden with family and friends on a (hopefully) warm, summer evening.
Cores do Samba is led by Brazilian singer Caru Lins and a collective group of talented musicians. Together they explore the infectious, uplifting rhythms of Brazil, including ‘MPB’ (Música Popular Brasileira), samba, bossa nova and funk, celebrating artists such as Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, João Donato, Tom Jobim, Djavan, Joyce and Ivan Lins.
🎶 Picnics are welcome. Food and drink will be provided by a variety of food trucks, Jack’s Gelato and The Garden Café.
🎶 Bring a rug or picnic chair and relax in beautiful surroundings to some stunning musical sounds!
