On Thursday, 16th July, we gather once again at Blue Sea, Worli Seaface for an evening dedicated to one of India's most powerful musical traditions.

The evening features The Art of Qawwali - an ensemble devoted to preserving and celebrating the traditional art form in its purest spirit. Rooted in Sufi mystic music, their performances blend poetry, storytelling, ghazal, philosophy and powerful live improvisation into an experience that is both intimate and electrifying.

Before the Qawwali begins, the evening opens with a soulful sitar recital by Zaminali Khan, setting the perfect tone for what follows.

Darbaar is an evening to slow down, immerse yourself in India's rich musical heritage and savour every part of the experience - from the music and food to the conversations and everything in between.
