SoundRise Darbaar returns. ✨

On 16th July, Thursday, we gather once again at Blue Sea, Worli Seaface for an evening dedicated to one of India’s most powerful musical traditions.

This edition of Darbaar dives deep into the world of Qawwali - voices rising together, rhythms building slowly into something transcendent, and music that makes strangers sing along, clap in unison, and lose track of time.

This soulful evening will feature The Art of Qawwali — an ensemble devoted to preserving and celebrating the traditional art form in its purest spirit. Rooted in Sufi mystic music, their performances blend poetry, storytelling, ghazal, philosophy and powerful live improvisation into an experience that is both intimate and electrifying.

As always, Darbaar is more than a concert. It’s a gathering. A chance to slow down, share a table, discover something new, and reconnect with a piece of India’s rich musical heritage. 🎵
