Melanie Baker: A rising slacker rock newcomer based in the North East of England. Her direct and honest lyricism captures themes such as queer identity, self-reflection and the anxieties of modern life. Her songs take you on an emotional and confusing rollercoaster with her unapologetic and sometimes uncomfortably honest lyrics paired with a sonically alluring, irreverent, grungy grit.
Support from The Wednesday Flowers, a North East shoegaze indie band quickly carving out their place in the UK’s music scene. Known for jangling guitars, heartfelt lyrics, and infectious energy, they blend nostalgia with afresh edge that connects instantly with audiences. Support also from solo musician Georgia Smith.
Every Soundcheck features a carefully curated line-up of artists ready to make their mark who are subject to change – tickets are booked for the night not a specific artist.
