Sound + Somatics: Ecstatic Breathwork
Schedule
Fri Jan 16 2026 at 05:45 pm to 08:45 pm
UTC+01:00Location
Teréz körút 32, Budapest 1066, Magyarország | Budapest, BU
We’ll begin with a heart-opening cacao ceremony accompanied by live handpan, gently grounding the body and opening the energetic field. From there, we move into ecstatic breathwork led by the steady pulse of live shamanic drumming, guiding you into expanded states of awareness, emotional release, and clarity.
The journey closes with a deeply restorative sound bath, featuring gong, ocean drum, angel harps, tongue drum, rainsticks, koshi chimes, and other organic instruments designed to soothe the nervous system and support integration.
You’ll be held in a cosmic, ambient, cozy atmosphere with soft lighting and palo santo, supported by eye masks, blankets, and pillows so you can fully surrender into the experience.

🌬️ What is Ecstatic Breathwork?
Ecstatic breathwork is a guided, intentional breathing practice involving conscious over-breathing (superventilation) in a safe, facilitated environment.
By temporarily altering oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in the body, the practice can:
Quiet the thinking mind
Activate the subconscious and emotional body
Release stored tension, stress, and emotional blockages
Induce expanded, trance-like states of awareness
Music and rhythm (in this case, live shamanic drumming and rattles) help guide the nervous system through waves of activation and release, followed by deep rest and integration.
