Carol Lindsay is a graduate of the Institute for Therapeutic Touch and The Barbara Brennan School of Healing, combining her love of healing & her joy of music. She continued her studies to include Tibetan, Celtic, Kahuna and Native American shamanism with various teachers.
During her 68 years of being a musician she has performed in pit orchestras for musicals, symphonic bands, symphony orchestras, a Celtic Band and improvisation groups playing world music on instruments from around the world. Carol runs a Bed & Breakfast and maintains a private practice in State College, PA offering LaStone hot rock therapy, energy healing, individual sound healing.
Many Sound Showers use different crystal bowls and/or tuning forks. Tonight, since Carol is a percussionist, she will use many different instruments of wood, metal and crystal which are made in different parts of the world. The different instruments have different frequencies to which the various parts of the body respond and move toward healing, balance and well-being. You lie on the floor or sit in a chair and allow the sounds to “shower” over you and drop you deeply into yourself.
Please bring an antigravity chair, a Yoga Mat, or pillows to make you comfortable while lying on the floor during the Sound Shower. Regular chairs will be available!
