In a contemporary landscape where technological acceleration, induced contentment, and digital isolation act as a form of social anaesthesia—how do we find our way back to intuition?
Sound Ritualism is an immersive, 3 hour experiential workshop designed to transition to the conscious participation. Hosted within the raw, industrial concrete of Kunstfabrik, this session investigates the essence of Tribal Ritualism and ancestral sound practices as precise tools for reclamation, healing, and awakening.
We will explore the common principles and practices that mankind use to enter a non-ordinary reality for problem solving, well-being, and healing and investigate the essence of Tribal Ritualism, with a focus on the sonic driving with the drum. The aim is to offer a deeper understanding of the ancestral meaning of modern Sound Ceremonies, allowing a reflection on the pillars of contemporary clubbing, rave and festival culture.
• Introduction notes on the history of Sound Healing and psychoacoustics.
• The neuroscience of sonic driving: entrainment, resonance and brainwaves to the trance states.
•Ritual anatomy of the contemporary rave vs. the ancient initiate.
•Guided Drumming Journey and somatic realignment.
