Sound meditation is an immersive experience where participants a bathed in sound waves from instruments like gongs, singing bowls, chimes, bells, and drums, designed to induce a deep relaxation, reduce stress, release stuck and unwanted energy, and release stress. They have been shown to lower heart rate and blood pressure, shift the brain out of fight or flight into rest and digest mode, and eases physical/emotional tension.
At Sanctuary we have a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We encourage you to wear loose fitted comfortable clothing and to bring plenty of pillows and blankets to create a nurturing nest to relax into. You may also bring a note pad and pen to journal your experience afterwards. And plenty of water.
