Sound Meditations: Oxnard

Join us in person for an immersive journey at the intersection of art and wellness.

Experience a restorative evening where sacred music meets mindful sound. Sound Meditations invites audiences into a contemplative soundscape of chant, Renaissance polyphony, and contemporary choral textures—gently woven together with elements of Alexander Technique, breath work, and sound therapy.

Featuring the award-winning vocal quartet Seraphour, joined by faculty artists from the Los Robles Children’s Choir, this program offers a luminous and collaborative vocal experience rooted in clarity, resonance, and intentional listening. The evening also includes AT West (Alexander Technique) and singing bowls with Diann Alexander, deepening the restorative environment with embodied awareness practices and healing vibrational sound. Wellness resources will also be available to support your journey toward calm, balance, and renewal.

Presented in partnership with the Ventura County Vibe Well Initiative, Sound Meditations celebrates the healing connection between art and well-being, creating space for renewal, reflection, and community through the transformative power of sound.

Note:
Oxnard, Ventura, and Simi Valley: This is a floor-based experience. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and/or cushions to sit or lie down comfortably.

Westlake Village, Camarillo, and Santa Paula: These events take place in venues with pews or standard seating, so no floor setup is required.
Some locations also include a health and wellness fair. Plan to arrive early to learn more about the wellness practitioners in your neighborhood!
