In a Sound Meditation, the vibrating tones of the gong and other instruments break through the mental and physical blocks to promote a deep sense of well-being, relaxation and inner peace. The sound of the gong has a profound effect on people, and many have an experience of floating in space, or in an ocean. Some have inspiring visions or see colors. In other words, come with an open heart and an open mind and be ready for the experience to unfold! If you have never attended a sound session before, Karen is the ultimate guide to introduce you to the healing power of sound.This event will put you into a meditation state, allowing you to surrender and release. And some people do fall asleep! We do have blankets, bolsters, and eye pillows available at the studio, but please bring along any props that will help support your body in a relaxed position.
