Step away from the noise of everyday life and enter a deeply restorative sound bath meditation at American Karate Center in Ellington, Connecticut.
As autumn settles in and the pace of daily life continues to pull us in many directions, this October gathering offers an opportunity to pause, slow down, and reconnect. You’re invited to set aside outside demands, return your attention to the body, and create space for greater balance, clarity, and presence.
The experience begins with gentle guidance through breath and intention, followed by an immersive sound meditation featuring singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other overtone-rich instruments. As the soundscape unfolds, layers of vibration and tone help quiet mental activity, soften the effects of stress, and support the body in settling into a more deeply relaxed state.
American Karate Center’s open, softly padded practice space provides a grounded and supportive environment where you can lie back, get comfortable, and receive the experience without effort or expectation.
Whether this is your first sound bath or part of an ongoing meditation practice, no previous experience is necessary. This session offers dedicated time to step away from overstimulation, slow the pace of daily life, and reconnect with yourself.
Located directly on Route 83 with convenient access and easy parking, American Karate Center is a warm, community-rooted venue in Ellington, CT. The surrounding area also offers several local dining options if you’d like to make an evening of your visit before or after the session.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring a yoga or exercise mat, a blanket, and anything else that will help you rest comfortably. An eye covering, pillow, bolster, or additional cushioning may also enhance your experience.
