Why Is It Called the Beaver Moon?
The full moon in November is known as the Beaver Moon named by Native American tribes who tracked time by observing nature’s cycles. The Frost Moon reflects the first hard frost while the Beaver Moon marks the time when beavers build their winter dams under the moon’s light preparing for the cold months ahead.
What Is the Spiritual Meaning of the Beaver Moon?
Spiritually the Beaver Moon symbolizes change preparation and manifestation. Just as beavers ready their shelters this moon invites us to lay the groundwork for our desires and future goals. It's also a time for releasing what no longer serves us making space for new opportunities.
