Tina Makris, E-RYT 500, CIAYT-800, MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST
Tina has been teaching Yoga for over 15 years and has been in the health and fitness industry for over 25 years. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, an E-RYT 500 through Yoga Alliance, and has advanced Yoga Therapy Certification through Loyola Marymount University. Her teaching styles include Classical Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin Yoga, Kids, Pre-Natal and Kundalini Yogas. Tina directs Anahata Yoga and Wellness’ 200 & 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training and is a Certified Reiki Practitioner. She also holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in Chinese Kenpo Karate. Her studies of over 14 years in the Martial Arts combined with her love and knowledge for Yoga and Ayurveda, bring a well-rounded open view in her teachings of the mind, body, and soul. She is a loving mother and wife who deeply enjoys nature and animals.
