Sound Healing 101 Series: Vocal Toning Workshop + Sound Bath

In the first portion of this event, you will learn and practice a foundational sound healing technique using vocal toning as a natural self-healing technique to improve heart health, get better sleep, and feel happier. Studies show that by vocal toning for just 5 minutes a day will increase the release of nitric oxide, melatonin, and dopamine in your body. This is not a singing lesson. The ability to create a sound with your vocal cords is the only requirement to use these sound vibrations to start improving your health.

Improve Heart Health: The release of nitric oxide in our bodies increases blood flow and oxygen supply to your tissues. By using this simple vocal toning technique, we can lower blood pressure and improve our heart health.

Get Better Sleep: The release of melatonin in our bodies helps us get better sleep. By using the simple technique for just 5 minutes before bed, you will be on your way to more restful sleep.

Feel Happier: The release of dopamine in our bodies allows us to feel happier. This vocal toning technique creates vibrations which promote a state of happiness, which may help in alleviating symptoms associated with anxiety and depression.

The second portion of this event, you will experience a full soundscape of healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, buffalo drum, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, rattles and voice. A ‘sound bath’ is a holistic approach to self-care and well-being, promoting relaxation, energy balance, and inner harmony.

Relaxation: As the mind focuses on the auditory experience, it can quiet the chatter of everyday thoughts, allowing for a sense of tranquility and inner peace to emerge.

Chakra Alignment: The instruments emit frequencies that help clear blockages and restore the flow of energy throughout the body.

Enhanced Meditation: The rhythmic and melodic sounds create a conducive environment for entering a meditative state, facilitating a deeper connection with oneself and the present moment. Participants may experience heightened awareness and increased mental clarity.

Your sound healer for this journey is Molly Adkins is an instructor for the number one globally recognized sound healing training group, the “Sound Healing Academy”, through which she teaches how to use a variety of instruments for self-care as well as to become a certified practitioner. She also holds certifications as an intuitive life coach, reiki master, yoga instructor, and trauma-informed yoga teacher for youth. She has a BA in voice, MA in ethnomusicology, and teaching licenses in Japanese and ESL. She lived in Japan for 11 years and is fluent in Japanese. Molly works with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of her clients to create transformative sessions, not only with sound vibrations but also through intuitive downloads she receives in sessions. Molly resides year-round in Manitou Springs and implements her award-winning teaching skills, musical background and various certifications to offer group and individual sound healing sessions, as well as sound healing workshops through the Sound Healing Academy.
