A Sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves.
These waves are produced by various sound sources, including healing instruments such as Gongs, Singing bowls, Percussion, Chimes, Rattles, Tuning forks, and the Voice.
Sound Healing is a practice that focuses on relaxing your mind and body to aide in healing, as does yoga and other wellness practices.
The 'Soundtender' for the evening is local Lexington Musician/Artist Ronnie Brown.
Ronnie is a musician of 30 years, who has performed everything from Reggae, Surf Rock, and Hand Percussion around Lexington.
Alongside being a computer engineer, he is dedicated to using both natural and electronic instruments to aid in stress reduction and energy blockage management.
The sounds beyond the sound, the ether, the universal gravity of how natural tonalities can be harnessed to tune our mind and bodies.
The past five years Ronnie has set out on a sound pilgrimage to attain and retain his Sound Healing Practitioner Certification. Upon completion of
this achievement, he now brings to SoulRebeLex the wondrous soothing sounds of the Handpan, Chimes, Singings Bowls, various Gongs and other instruments.
We welcome our "Soundtender" to the studio!
The class can be performed lying down if you are comfortable, or in a seated position.
Please bring a comfortable mat or blanket to get as comfortable as you can be during the Sound Bath.
