Sound Bath with Malaika: Donation Event

Join us for a relaxing in-person sound bath experience led by Malaika. Let the soothing sounds wash over you and help you unwind. This event is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress and recharge in a welcoming space. Don't miss out on this unique chance to connect with yourself and the community through sound!

This is a donation-based event, so come as you are and give what feels right. We strongly encourage a minimum $10 donation per participant. All proceeds will go to Women's Resource Center Atlanta. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of many women and their children escaping domestic abuse. Thank you so much for your support!

Paired with therapeutic singing bowls and various other sound instruments, one may shift into a deeply relaxed state, where time disappears, physical boundaries dissolve, and problems and worries melt away. At the same time, your energy flow is stimulated and senses awakened promoting natural healing processes to occur, leaving you with a feeling of comfort and sense of natural well-being. You are officially invited to relax, let go, and release through this healing journey as these ancient practices allow your body to clear, align, and detoxify. All levels welcome. Must be at least 12 years old to participate.

Although sound healing is a non-invasive and gentle therapeutic approach, there are certain circumstances in which it is advisable to consult with your practitioner or healthcare advisor prior to participating.

• History of seizures

• In the first trimester of pregnancy

• Use of a pacemaker or metal implants

• Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)

Sound healing can serve as a profoundly restorative practice when undertaken with mindfulness and due diligence. Acknowledging these contraindications and implementing the necessary precautions ensures a calming and therapeutic experience to this ancient practice.
