Sound Bath with Ildi Ingraham
When: 3-4PM every second Saturday of the month
Where: Curtis Hall at the Blue Sage
$20 at the door, cash or Venmo
Ildi’s Sound Baths are designed to calm the nervous system of the attendees. Everyone brings with them whatever they need to lie on the floor comfortably and just listen with their eyes closed. The session starts with a brief talk about the current astrology and a guided relaxation meditation. Then, Ildi, with support from her husband, Erick, plays her singing bowls, gentle gong, chimes and does some vocal toning, to sooth the listener and alleviate stress and anxiety. Peace and bliss are restored and sometimes, people’s consciousness is raised.
She requests that you arrive early to set up your space, so she can start on time.
About Ildi:
Ildi was born in Budapest, Hungary and emigrated to the United States when she was 2 years old. She grew up on the East Coast, studied theatre at Boston University, sang professionally for many years and always felt that her true calling was to help others heal, through nontraditional spirit-based means. She has been studying and practicing alternative healing arts since 1986. The first time she heard singing bowls was at the Paonia Rainbow Gathering in 1994 and was smitten. She recently took a 14 month long course in Sacred Sound Healing through the Shift Network and became a Certified Sound Healer in February of 2025. She has performed Sound Baths in Basalt, Carbondale, Paonia, Hotchkiss, Cedaredge, Ouray and Telluride and feels that she has found her life’s calling.
