ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

Debbie’s personal journey with yoga, meditation, sound healing, and chant began in 2004 when she committed herself to her own personal practice, which led to Kripalu yoga teacher training and advanced education in yoga and other spiritual practices.

She writes:
“I believe my role as a teacher is to serve as a guide to students in their own personal exploration, experience, and insight. It is a privilege and a gift to witness the powerful, transformative journey of body, mind, and spirit that yoga and these other practices offer. My physical therapy training and musical experience provide me with knowledge of proper breathing, healthy body alignment, and mindful movement. This traditional medical training allows me to consider and suggest adjustments, modifications, and applications, bringing more students to the practice of these life-altering physical, spiritual, and mental disciplines. Most passionately for me, yoga, meditation, and chant are available to us all, no matter what physical or mental challenges a student may have.”
