Join us for the first event of its kind at REZO Spa Wednesday May 15th 7-8PM with Rachel McConville of Rae of Light Yoga, Sound Therapy, & Wellness LLC ✨During the special event you will be invited to relax and find comfort on your mat as you receive the healing tones and frequencies of the Crystal Singing Bowls, Gong, & Chimes!
🎶 Sound Healing is an ancient, holistic, healing modality now being recognized by modern researchers and scientists for its profound healing and relaxing capabilities. 😴
👉🏽During a Sound Bath or Sound Immersion students get to lay comfortably (and fully clothed) on their yoga mats while the practitioner plays the crystal & Tibetan singing bowls, gong, and chimes. Allowing the nervous system to reset and the brain and body to de-stress and come into a more balanced and harmonious state.
✨Sound Healing works by allowing our brain 🧠 to transition from high functioning Beta frequencies which are utilized to move us through our day to day lives and to react and respond to stress/threats and into a calm and relaxed mental state associated with Alpha, Theta, and even Delta brain wave frequencies/patterns.
👉🏽This happens when the tones and frequencies produced by the singing bowls and other instruments move through the room and pass through all objects, including the human body.
👉🏽Sound frequencies also are able to stimulate the Vagus Nerve which is the 10th longest cranial nerve and is directly related to our ‘activated’ or ‘fight/flight/fawn/freeze’ response of the nervous system. When the Vagus nerve is gently stimulated with the sound and frequencies it relays the message of safety and relaxation to your mind and body. Thus allowing those who live fast paced & high stress lives to fully relax and reset the nervous system, leaving classes feeling recalibrated and more balanced.

All you need to do is sit or lay comfortable for the duration of class
Students are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, water, a blanket or two, pillow, and any other comfort items so you can rest for the duration of class.
👉🏽There will be props such as bolsters and blankets to utilize and are available on a first come - first served basis so please plan to arrive 10-15min early to get settled in !
