About this Event
Step into a deeply restorative experience designed to calm your nervous system, quiet your mind, and reconnect you to yourself.
A sound bath is a meditative journey where you are “bathed” in sound waves produced by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, and other resonant tones. These frequencies help guide the body into a relaxed, parasympathetic state—supporting stress release, mental clarity, and inner stillness.
The Journey
We begin by arriving—fully and intentionally. Scott Van Note will guide you through a grounding meditation that invites you out of the thinking mind and into the felt experience of your body. Through gentle somatic awareness, you’ll begin to soften, unwind, and settle into a space of safety, presence, and openness.
From this grounded place, you’ll transition into a layered soundscape led by Tia Hay. The sound unfolds gradually—waves of tone and vibration that move through the body and around you. Rather than focusing or “trying” to meditate, you’re invited to simply listen. The sounds become a steady point of return, meeting you wherever you are and guiding you deeper into stillness, spaciousness, and inner awareness.
What you may experience
No two journeys are the same. You might drift in and out of awareness, feeling as though you’re floating between waking and dreaming. The body may soften in unexpected ways, the mind may grow quiet—or active before it settles. All of it is welcome.
People often notice:
- A deep exhale—physically, mentally, or emotionally
- Subtle waves of sensation, like warmth, tingling, or gentle vibration
- Visuals, memories, or moments of clarity arising without effort
- A sense of timelessness, as if the mind has loosened its grip
- Profound rest that feels different from sleep—more spacious, more aware
Whatever your experience, there is no right or wrong way to receive it. This is a space to let go, to listen, and to allow.

About the Facilitators
Tia Hay is a Santa Fe–based sound healing practitioner and Pilates instructor who has been working with sound for the past five years. Her work is rooted in supporting individuals in exploring their consciousness, settling the nervous system, and deepening their meditation practice. She views sound as a powerful anchor—something we can gently return to as the mind moves—making meditation more accessible and embodied.
Scott Van Note, LMHC, is a licensed therapist, coach, and graduate school teacher, who guides individuals through somatic experiences and parts work therapies that foster emotional awareness and integration. His approach helps people reconnect with themselves through presence and compassion, co-creating a grounded relational container for inner exploration.
