FAQs

ARRIVE EARLY

Doors open at 6:40pm. Please arrive between 6:40pm-7:00pm to give yourself time to settle-in and relax. The sound bath will begin promptly at 7:05pm. (Latecomers will not be permitted to enter once we begin.) The sound bath will conclude at 8:15pm.

FREE PARKING

The Philosophical Research Society has a parking lot in the front, off Los Feliz Blvd, and another smaller lot in back, off the alley behind the bldg. There's also free street parking on Los Feliz Blvd or Griffith Park Blvd. There is another event at PRS this evening, so arrive early to give yourself plenty of time to park.

EVENT SPACE

Once you enter the outdoor courtyard area, go up the staircase to the second floor to the door named "LECTURE ROOM." You may bring a bottle of water. (Please do not bring food or drinks other than water.) Nag Champa incense may be burning.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring a yoga mat, sleeping bag or blanket to lie on. Bring a pillow for your head. Many people like to cover themselves with blankets. Wear comfortable clothes. You're welcome to bring your crystals to be cleared, and an eye mask.

LIMITED SPACE / CANCELLATION POLICY

There are limited spots available. You may cancel your ticket (on Eventbrite) up to 24 hours before the event begins for a refund; however, Eventbrite does not refund their fee of $4.12. We do not refund or transfer tickets within 24 hours of the event; however, should you be unable to attend, you may give your ticket to a friend to use in your place.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

We welcome Adults 18 years and older. Families with teenagers may attend, provided the teens are excited to attend a sound bath and can lie still and quiet for an hour. Children 8-12 are not welcome. (Exceptions may be made for Children 8-12 who practice meditation or have done sound baths and really like them. Please reach out to [email protected] for approval before buying a ticket.) It is not appropriate for Children 7 years and younger to attend.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By signing up for this event, it is understood that although sounds baths may be therapeutic, they are not therapy. Sound Bath Bliss & Breathwork (and its facilitator Kristin Palombo) is not a therapist and serves only as a guide. Additionally, the attendee(s) attests that he/she does not have covid, covid symptoms, nor has been in contact with anyone with covid for at least 14 days. The attendee(s) agrees to release from any claim: Sound Bath Bliss & Breathwork, the other participants of this event, as well as Kristin Palombo, any event sponsors, and the facility in which this event is held. Except in the case of gross negligence or malpractice, I or my representative(s) agree to fully release and hold harmless Sound Bath Bliss & Breathwork (and its facilitator Kristin Palombo) from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with my session(s).
