Come and experience a Sound Bath Healing & Meditation with Reiki at The Agape House ! Join Mike McGuigan of Sounds for Health and Tina McDonald of The Agape House for a transformative Sound Healing & Meditation infused with Reiki.
Begin the new year by releasing what no longer serves us, making space for renewal, clarity, and deeper alignment with ourselves.
The guided meditation will lead you through the process of release, helping you shed old patterns, emotions, or energetic blockages. Through deep breathing and mindfulness, you’ll open yourself to the healing power of letting go, allowing yourself to find inner peace and balance. The sound healing portion will be a deeply immersive experience, incorporating a variety of sacred instruments. These instruments create vibrations that promote deep relaxation and healing, helping to cleanse and align your chakras and create a harmonious sound bath experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself. You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, centered, and ready to embrace the next chapter with clarity and lightness. While in meditation, you will individually receive the loving healing energy of Reiki.

This event is open to all, whether you are experienced in meditation or trying it for the first time. Come prepared to release, realign, and open yourself to the healing energies of sound and Reiki.

The Agape House is located on the Southwest Corner of Rt. 31 and Prairie in St. Charles. Parking is on Prairie behind the blue house. Overflow parking is on Second St. There is a paved path from the parking lot to the front of the house so you don't have to walk on the sidewalks.
Facilitator Bio Mike McGuigan: Mike McGuigan, RMT, IARP; brings over 20 years of experience as a multi-instrumentalist, playing music professionally both as live a performer and as a recording studio artist. Blessed to have teachers that helped push him to be the best musician he could possibly be, Mike earned a music scholarship to play Bass Trombone at Western Illinois University, with Jazz being his emphasis. After college, Mike, under direction of Mark Bettcher, played Bass Bone with the Elgin Community Jazz Ensembles, performing with Grammy Award Winning Musicians Frank Catalano, Randy Brecker, Maynard Ferguson, and more. He also played in several Rock & Roll bands, in the suburbs of Chicago over the years, most notably known as the multi-instrumentalist for the all-original Funk Rock Jazz Blues Band- "City Hall Fred".
Mike found Yoga to help naturally ease chronic lower back pain and discomfort. It also provided much needed relief to help slow his “busy mind”. Through that community, he discovered the Crystal Bowls and immediately became intrigued at the way he felt physically and mentally after experiencing these magical instruments. In 2014, Mike completed training with the Vibrational Sound Association and began his career as Sound Therapist and Sound Healer.
Mike’s rapid growth to the highest level of Reiki Teacher/Practitioner was under the direct guidance and mentorship of Kathryn Regganie, of Energy Pathways, Inc. After completion of Master Teacher Certification, Mike continued to meet monthly with his teacher, as well as fellow students, to learn and fine tune these gifts and skills. He is licensed, insured, and a member of the International Associations of Reiki Professionals, for humans, and also for pets/animals.
Mike Practices at Sounds For Health Studios, a part of the jKruse Therapy Services LLC Team, located in Batavia, IL. He works Reiki on animals at Vitality Animal Chiropractic, Aurora, IL.
Facilitator Bio Tina McDonald: My name is Tina. I am a Usui Reiki Master Teacher and an affiliate member of the International Center for Reiki Training. I am at least a third-generation intuitive on my father’s side of the family and was first introduced to the metaphysical and spiritual world at a young age. I began my studies in 2020 where I found solace in the healing properties of Reiki. I am also attuned in Karuna, Holy Fire, Dragon, Crystal, Shamanic and Angelic Reiki, and draw from all these modalities during a Reiki session. In addition to practicing Reiki, I offer Tarot, Oracle, Runes and Pendulum divination. I am certified to conduct EFT tapping sessions and aura cleansings. I am also a published author and the moderator of the monthly Conversations with Source online group channeling event.
