About this Event
Dear Family,
You are warmly invited to step into a circle of reciprocity and come together for a special sound bath in support of those going through the unimaginable; war, displacement and genocide.
Show up for 90 minutes and to be within a circle of support and receive a calming and therapeutic sound bath with Alchemy crystal singing bowls, gongs and other healing instruments. Show up and 100% of ticket sales go to various charities who are committed to bringing aid, hope and justice in various places around the world.
Tickets start at £15 with the option to donate more.
Coming together for our family across the world and coming together to support one another who are here at home is more important than ever. Your presence and contribution MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Come together to connect and stand in solidarity for a safer and just world.
- Please note you will need to bring your own yoga mat, pillows, blankets and any other props that will make you comfortable for the experience.
We will start promptly at 6pm. You are able to arrive from 5:30pm onwards for tea and to find a space. Please note due to the nature of sound baths, there will absolutely no late admittance. There will also 1 hour after the session to stay, chat, or just be in the space.
About the Charities:
Palestine, Lebenon & Jordan - https://www.anera.org/
Anera provides humanitarian assistance and sustainable development to advance the well-being of refugees and other vulnerable communities in Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan. Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in Palestine (West Bank and Gaza), Lebanon and Jordan. We mobilise resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most.
Congo - https://panzifoundation.org/
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has endured one of the deadliest conflicts since World War II, with over 6 million lives lost and millions more displaced. Often driven by the struggle over its vast mineral wealth, the ongoing conflict has caused untold suffering, particularly for women and children. Sexual violence has been a weapon of war, with mass atrocities committed by rebel groups and foreign-backed militias.
Yazidi - https://www.nadiasinitiative.org/
Much of Nadia’s advocacy work is focused on meeting with global leaders to raise awareness of the genocide against the Yazidi people and the systemic use of sexual violence as a weapon of war. Nadia is the President and Chairwoman of Nadia’s Initiative, which actively works to persuade governments and international organizations to support the sustainable re-development of the Yazidi homeland, as well as survivors of sexual violence globally.
