A sound bath is a meditative experience where the participant is “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by a multitude of healing instruments such as crystal quartz sound bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, drums, chimes, tuning forks, didgeridoo, and much more. The human body and electromagnetic field all vibrate at a certain frequencies. In a sound bath, the frequencies produced by the instruments help balance and harmonize the body and energy field through resonance.This class begins with gentle, intentional breath and movement. This aids the participant in becoming present and softening the body. And the class ends with a 60 minute sound bath in which the participant just lays comfortably and receives.
