Join sound healing facilitator and yoga teacher Heather at Yorktown Yoga and Wellness for a sound bath healing workshop - honoring the beaver moon, the full moon marked by beavers building dams and gathering food in preparation for winter.This candlelit, meditative sound bath will honor this auspicious moon. Relax into the sounds of crystal singing bowls and ocean drums. Sound frequencies have been used throughout many different cultures to bring mind, body, and spirit into alignment. Each singing bowl has been tuned to a healing frequency linked to one of the seven primary chakras, or energetic centers within the body. By releasing any energetic blockages through sound meditation, we can promote the free flow of energy to restore balance and a sense of wellbeing. Join us for an experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, uplifted, and ready to set your intentions as we move into the height of summer. While bolsters, blankets, yoga mats, and chairs will be available, please bring any additional personal items you would like to ensure a comfortable experience.
This workshop is accessible to all students as any meditative posture can be used including a chair.
