Sound & Acupuncture

Veronica of Kasama Wellness will take you on a sound journey to help your nervous system enter a parasympathetic state while Barbara, a licensed Registered Acupuncturist and owner of AcuNiagara Acupuncture & Wellness will perform gentle, effective acupuncture techniques to each participant.

The combination of Acupuncture with Sound Meditation creates a soothing space to deeply relax and recalibrate. Quiet the mind, and release tension and stress in the body, as the combined therapies activate your body's innate healing energy.

Acupuncture therapy will consist of several points geared to deep relaxation, leaving you feeling calm and refreshed.

A portion of the event fee may qualify for coverage under extended health benefit plans! A receipt for acupuncture treatment will be provided after you attend the event(please verify coverage directly with your insurer).

About the hosts:

Barbara Poczyniak, R.Ac is a Registered Acupuncturist with a focus on pain relief, emotional wellbeing and supporting women's health at all stages of life.

Veronica King is a trained Sound Therapy Practitioner who offers group sound baths such as this one, as well as private 1:1 sessions.

What to know/to bring:

• Several acupuncture points will be applied to the hands, feet, and head.
• Wear comfy clothing, with loose pants and sleeves that can be rolled or pulled up.
• You will be lying on mats, please wear layers in case your body cools down during the session.
• Bring water, yoga mat, blanket and (optional) eye pillow.
