As many of you know, after 17 years of #PoetryInMotion, we brought back a different iteration of "poetry night" 2 years ago, through an event called Soulbrations Open Mic Series (Hosted by Devine Carama) featuring JK-47. We've tinkered with the format a bit (not too much) to highlight upcoming poets and vocalists while also being a safe space for "everyday folks" to come out and express themselves regularly.
We are excited to continue patronizing Halligan's Bar & Grill in the Manchester district! April 14th we celebrate the 2-year anniversary of #Soulbrations!! Doors open at 8 pm, and the show starts at 8:30 pm. Tell a friend and join us. It's going to be a SOULbration!!! This will be the first set of 2026!!

Remember, this is a poetry night! There will be times in the evening to show up and have a good time, but please be respectful when the performer is on the mic. That moment of expression could be life-changing for them or someone else!
Doors open at 8 pm, and poetry starts at 8:30 pm! Seating is limited, so arrive early.
