About this Event
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASING TICKET.
As someone who has personally gained so much from Cold Water Therapy/Meditation I am now following my desire to take classes and help others.
Mental and physical health is so important and the vast majority of us face struggles in some way or another. It’s about finding coping mechanisms and ways to let go of stress and anxiety.
This group to bring women together, away from their day to day struggles and stress, to take time out for themselves and to remember who they really are.
When you step outside of your comfort zone and break down the barriers it can take you forward in all aspects of your life.
Let’s do this Ladies!! DM for map and additional info if required.
WHAT TO BRING
Swimwear or something you feel comfy to wear in for the dip.
Water shoes or trainers
Towel (for getting dried)
Robe/Dry Robe/Snoodie (if you have one, makes it easier getting dressed)
Matt, Blanket or Towel for sitting down or a chair (personal preference)
Bag (for wet clothing)
Hat, Gloves
Warm Clothes for after dip (recommend something easy to get on)
There will be hot drinks provided afterwards.
HEALTH
If you are feeling unwell or have any health concerns you should obtain advice from a health professional before participating in any cold water therapy activities.
It has been advised that cold water therapy is not suitable for people that have the following health conditions; Epilepsy, Coronary heart disease, Raynaud’s Syndrome type ll, High blood pressure, Kidney failure, history of Stroke or Heart issues, Cold urticaria.
There are various views on participating in CWT during pregnancy. However, I was recommended against this from a midwife and would discourage anyone else from doing so again until after pregnancy.
