Soul Sistas Hike Too Presents: Rooted In Transition
About this Event
Rooted in Transition was created specifically for women who are navigating an unexpected employment transition, such as a layoff, position elimination, downsizing, furlough, or other involuntary change in employment.
This experience is not a career networking event or a hike for women simply considering a career change. It is a restorative space for women who have recently experienced a disruption in employment and may be navigating the uncertainty, emotions, and questions that can come with it.
You don't have to have the answers. You don't have to explain your situation. And you don't have to navigate this season alone.
Join Soul Sistas Hike Too for a gentle morning of mindful hiking, forest bathing, reflection, and sisterhood at Sweetwater Creek State Park.
Together, we will:
🌿 Move at a mindful pace through nature
🌿 Create space to breathe, reflect, and reset
🌿 Connect with other women navigating transition
🌿 Practice grounding and mindfulness
🌿 Leave with a renewed sense of connection and possibility
This Experience Is For You If:
• You have recently lost your job or experienced an unexpected change in employment.
• Your position was eliminated, you were laid off, downsized, furloughed, or otherwise displaced from your role.
• You are currently navigating the uncertainty of what comes next after an employment disruption.
• You could use a supportive space to breathe, reconnect, and be around women who may understand what you're experiencing.
Your employment status does not define you. This is simply a space to acknowledge the transition, honor where you are, and reconnect with yourself.
