Brief outline: This workshop will explore the Root Healing of Black women in transition of hormonal changes, looking at the missing link between our nervous system, detoxification and drainage, and why this matters.

How optimisation of these systems functions may help the transition into menopause and beyond, mitigating against chronic disease.

The workshop will cover:

• How the nervous system interacts with our endocrine system and the practical ways to regulate and restore the balance.
• Why drainage before detoxification?
• How to cultivate and restore our energy & vitality for self-repair & self-healing

Bio:

With over 30 years of experience in psychotherapeutic practice, Mukuqesua has worked extensively for the past two decades on integrating an approach to healing that she calls the Root Healing Protocol. Her therapeutic offerings are guided and influenced by ancient ancestral wisdom teachings rooted in African-centred psychology, cosmology and Taoism philosophy that she bridges with modern psychology and neurosciences, which shapes her approach to health and wellbeing. Her work aims to empower her clients to remember their true essence and how to live in alignment with the natural forces, rhythms, phases and cycles of their nature.

A passionate educator and inspirational speaker, Mukuqesua has a special interest in women’s health and is the Founder of the Root Healing Programme for black women in transition of hormonal changes. She champions Root Healing, recognising that healing begins with truth and must speak to the wellness of the totality of our being, Body, mind, psyche, energy and spirit and that medicine must be non-suppressive, gentle but potent to stimulate our inner capacity to self-heal.
