Lament—so often overlooked—is deeply woven into the fabric of Scripture, offering an honest, unflinching cry from the heart to God. In this Soul Gardening session, Canon for Music Tim Tuller will join the Rev. Dr. Linda Privitera to lead us in exploring laments both in scripture and in music.
In a world where each day’s headlines bring grief—war and famine, climate disasters, senseless violence, and personal loss—lament becomes a faithful way to seek solace and strength. Together, we will engage in two guided meditations, enter into times of silent reflection and prayer, and conclude with the celebration of the Eucharist.
In the company of others, we will reach toward God, giving voice to our sorrow and finding hope in the sharing. All are welcome. Please register using the tickets link. The event is free.
