As we come to the close of National Women’s Month, what better way to celebrate than by strolling with us bowl in hand and comfort in your heart.
It's cold outside! You know that feeling when your grandmother, mama, or auntie slid a warm bowl of soup in front of you and everything felt better? That’s the energy. This Soul Food Stroll is a love letter to the women who raised us, fed us, and the women business owners who keep our communities going today.
Here’s how it works: grab your bowl, stroll our soup stops, and fill it with whatever warms you up. Enjoy cozy classics like warm clam chowder, Creole gumbo, chicken and dumplings, beef stew, hearty chili, and more. And because it’s still the Soul Food Stroll, we’re bringing the brunch favorites too. Creamy grits, warm biscuits, blackberry compote, and more delicious bites.
While you eat, you’ll also get to meet and support the women building businesses, creating jobs, and pouring back into the community.
