Soul Food Festival at the MET Tent with One Voice Community Choir

This is no ordinary concert - admission is by food donation, every contribution directly supporting food banks in the Preston area, offering real support for local families in need.
Also showcasing the ‘New Roots’ Choir.
One Voice Community choir are known for their work to support Preston's food banks. This year we're working in direct partnership with St Brenards Community Hub, Preston City Council and The Met Tent to bring a special Summer concert to the community of Larches and beyond. To play your part in this social action event, simply book your free ticket to reserve a seat, and then bring your food donation to the event. Food banks need ambient, tinned and dried foods such as tinned meat, fish and vegatables, sauces, pasta, rices, cereals and any thing which can be kept in a store cupboard. Please bring items with a considerable remaining shelf life. The food you donate will be quickly distributed across local foobanks to assist families in immediate need. School Summer holidays always create stock challenges as families fill the gap in school lunch provision. Your donation really matters, please donate generously if you can.
