About this Event
Soul Flow After Dark welcomes adults 21 and over into a cannabis friendly wellness environment. For those who choose to partake, optional medicinal herb use is welcomed with mindfulness, intention, and personal responsibility.
Inspired by the yogic concept of Osadhi described in Yoga Sutra 4.1, we recognize that plant medicine has long been acknowledged as one of several avenues through which expanded awareness may arise. Participation is entirely optional, and the heart of the evening remains rooted in movement, reflection, sound, and authentic human connection.
Whether you join us for the philosophy, the yoga, the music, the sound healing, or the community, you'll leave with more than a great evening. You'll leave with practical tools, meaningful connections, and a deeper understanding of yourself.

Soul Flow After Dark is a monthly wellness experience created by Maat Wellness that blends meaningful conversation, joyful movement, immersive sound, music, and authentic community. More than a yoga event, it is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and experience the wisdom of yoga in a way that is practical, embodied, and deeply human.
Created and led by Ja Cole , founder of Maat Wellness, Co-Founder of The Tree Yoga Cooperative, creator of Soul Flow, and Mental Yoga. This experience draws on more than 20 years of dedicated yoga practice, 15 years of teaching, and years of training yoga teachers throughout Los Angeles. Ja is known for making yoga philosophy accessible, blending soulful Vinyasa, thoughtful alignment, and honest conversation that helps people apply ancient wisdom to modern life.
This three part Summer Series explores the Three Gunas, the ancient yogic understanding of the qualities that influence our thoughts, emotions, habits, relationships, and actions. Rather than asking, "Who am I?" the Gunas invite us to ask:
"What energy is shaping my experience right now?"
Each evening begins with a guided Mental Yoga dialogue where we'll reflect on the month's theme through conversation, self inquiry, and community discussion. We then embody those insights through an all levels Soul Flow Vinyasa yoga experience.
Soul Flow combines intentional movement, thoughtful alignment, conscious breathing, and an uplifting soundtrack of R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, and global rhythms. This is an active practice designed to elevate your heart rate, awaken your energy, and prepare the body and mind for deeper awareness, reflection, and surrender.
Summer SeriesAs the evening unfolds, we'll slow into an immersive sound journey led by Saharah Ali, allowing space to integrate the evening before closing with music, conversation, and community.
