Soul Care Sunday

Feeling overwhelmed and in need of a little soul care? Are you seeking self-care and spiritual rejuvenation?
We invite you to take a rest. Rest isn’t just the goal—it’s the way forward. The Eureka Springs United Women in Faith unit is offering experiences on a regular basis that embody both self-care and spiritual rejuvenation – it’s what we call soul care. These are exciting new spaces for women, made by women.
Beginning November 8th we will share in Soul Care Sunday, a monthly time of meditation and music. Robin Burk will guide us as we focus on giving care to our whole person – mind, body, and spirit.
Soul Care Sunday happens on the second Sunday of each month, beginning at 4:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Funds for the Love Offering basket will be shared with our meditation facilitator and local programs that benefit women, children and youth. This time of quiet peace allows authentic, spiritual, safe-space connections with other women. Come.
All spiritual faiths are invited to join in this personal journey of Soul Care.
Robin Burk is a Therapeutic Musician and Deep Transformational Coach with over 15 years of experience leading group sessions. Many know Robin for her contemplative style of music on Native Style Flute and Handpans. She blends monochord, kalimba, and singing bowls as well as some of her original compositions on synthesizer. Her music is often described as soothing and transformative, a musical soundscape with an ethereal edge.
What to bring:An open mind and heart. Please bring anything needed to support your comfort while laying on the ground. We do have a few yoga mats available, please do consider bringing your own. Many people get a little chilly while in a deep relaxation state, so a light blanket is recommended as well.
Location:Eureka Springs United Methodist Church - we will meet in the fellowship hall. The door is to the right of the Sanctuary.
