Soul Beyond Measure, the award-winning feature documentary by writer and director Sofia Stoycheva, follows people from around the world who have devoted themselves to Bulgarian folk dance, music and song.

Filmed over nearly seven years across Bulgaria, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, the United States and Japan, the documentary explores much more than folklore. Through deeply personal stories, it becomes a film about love, identity, friendship, belonging and the extraordinary power of culture to connect people across borders.
