Arkæon are a Danish black metal band from Aarhus, formed in 2019 and now part of the newer, more extreme-oriented Danish scene.
Their debut album "Parasit" (2022) was praised as a brutal, dissonant and intense work, driven by fierce energy and sharp rhythmic shifts. The band is described as a group that operates at the intersection of aggressive complexity and dark melody, often featuring both bass and drums on vocals, which gives their sound a distinctive and almost 'haunting' quality.
